Yes. What we can do, is spread the information. And that's what I am proposing.

No, but that is certainly an option. In general, I think the project
ideas set up by the mentoring organizations are a good start. That's
why I listed a few.

Yes, I see a blog post (and these emails) server two needs:

1. spread the new among students and among people that can forward it
to students
2. isolate single students to a particular project
