Dear all,

Following Tim Gowers successfull FOI request for costs of academic
publishing in the UK, I made a FOI request to Finnish Universities about
publication license fees in 2014.

After a long process, this data will be released next week, containing
information on publication fees paid to Elsevier and many other publishers
during 2010-2015. More info will follow.

We are planning to share a blog post on this process and the outcomes. I
know that related activities have been ongoing in various countries. Kindly
let me know if you have more information on about the situation elsewhere.
