Hi Everyone,

A while back I mentioned that we would be redeveloping the OpenGLAM Open
Collections page (http://openglam.org/open-collections/) to make it more
user friendly, searchable, scalable and visual.

There is still work to be done but we are now ready to share what we
have with you and would like to invite your feedback! The beta version
is at: http://omeka.okfn.org/

If you can make it we will be having an open meeting on *Thursday 19th
March at 11am GMT/ 12pm CEST* (hangout link
<https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_/okfn.org/marieke?authuser=0>) to
discuss what needs to be done before a final release. Some of the topics
we will be thinking about are:

  * Rating system for openness - how should we indicate an openness level?
  * Tags - what tags should we be adding? What would people find useful?
  * Collaboration with other Open Collections initiatives such as
Curator's Choice from the Public Domain Review
  * Any bugs that need sorting out
  * Updating the current content - time for a sprint!

Thanks

Marieke
